Help us improve our statewide survey and change policies to support Black women and girls

Are you a Black woman, girl or femme aged 14 or older living in Minnesota who wants to make institutions more responsive and accessible to other Black women, girls and femmes?

Sign up for one of our feedback sessions to ensure that this survey accurately assesses institutions – from social workers to police officers – to pinpoint the ways that they need to change to not perpetuate structural violence.

With your feedback, we will make changes to our survey to ensure that it is accessible to Black women, girls and femmes of various ages, ethnicities, abilities, and geographic contexts! During the sessions, participants will take the survey and review each question to suggest any wording or format changes. We will also have healing breaks to ensure that the feedback session holds space for the trauma that these topics may bring up.

We have two opportunities where you can plug in. These two feedback sessions will take place in different places to accommodate for folks coming from a variety of counties across the state:

  • Friday, June 13th 3p- 5p (In-person, Twin Cities)

  • Friday, June 20th 6p - 8p (Online, outside of Twin Cities)

Each two-hour session will include each participant taking the survey, reviewing each question, and sharing feedback on the experience. Participants will receive $50 for their time.

To get involved, complete the interest form or share the form with Black women, femmes, and girls by May 23rd.
