Research in Action is reclaiming the power of research by disrupting top-down approaches and putting community-lived expertise first to create meaningful change for impacted communities and organizations. 

We envision a world where Black, Brown, and Indigenous people are thriving because we have built processes and systems that create equitable opportunities for everyone to do and be well. We work to bring this vision to life by:

  • investing in mutually beneficial relationships where community members are active partners in designing and creating tailored, action-oriented products and

  • leveraging our expertise in research, evaluation, coaching, community-centered engagement, and organizational strategy support to create structural changes that eliminate inequities.
